On screen controls are found at the base of the map, but you can also use your keyboard and mouse to make things happen!
zooming in and out
- zoom tool found lower left -or-
- click on map, and then use "+" and "-" keyboard keys
moving the map
- place mouse over map, press and drag the map -or-
- directional tool found lower left -or-
- click on map, and then use page directional keys on your keyboard
viewing mapped locations
- select a category of interest at the base of the map
- all locations associated with that category will appear on map
- mouse over dots to trigger information bubbles about the entities
to learn more about an entity
keep the info bubble open by NOT moving your mouse and CLICK - you will be brought to the entity's profile page automatically.

The Jackson Hill Main Street Special Improvement District (JHMSSID), parallels Manhattan running south to north along Martin Luther King Drive, reaching east & west as it crosses Communipaw and continues north along Monticello Avenue. By Train
The MLK Hub, our Hudson-Bergen Light Rail train station is conveniently located at the center of the district. The Hudson-Bergen Light Rail is the first modern light rail transportation system to be built in New Jersey in the last 55 years. The 20.5 mile light rail system connects to communities of Jersey City, Bayonne, Hoboken, Weehawken, West New York, North Bergen and Ridgefield. With convenient connecting stations to NJ Transit Commuter Rail lines, the Path system, and key Ferry locations, the Hub is Jackson Hill's gateway to any point in Manhattan and the most densely populated region in the state of New Jersey.
