At the heart of the Jackson Hill Main Street district you'll find the MLK Hub. It's the central gathering place for District celebrations, live outdoor music in the summer, and a variety of entertaining & educational events. Get to the Hub anytime of the year and you'll find convenient shopping, parking, services, transportation and more.
The new City Hall Annex is located in the hub at 1 Jackson Square. The annex houses the Health Dept., the Offices of Senior Affairs, Veterans Affairs and the Division of City Planning
The MLK Hub is where you can catch the Light Rail reaching all points such as Newark, Liberty State Park, Journal Square and beyond. It's a great convenience to Jackson Hill residents and businesses alike.
The MLK Hub is one of Jersey City's most ambitious economic revitalization projects. Primarily funded by the Jersey City Economic Development Corporation, a significant investment of public capital has been the catalyst for private investment in the area. New, exciting developments are located around the Hub, such as Jackson Green: 22 Modern and Energy Efficient Townhomes.
It's all a part of the New Journey and positive change that the Jackson Hill Main Street Special Improvement District program is designed to support. Join Us!
