At the heart of the Jackson Hill Main Street district you'll find the MLK Hub. It's the central gathering place for District celebrations, live outdoor music in the summer, and a variety of entertaining & educational events. Get to the Hub anytime of the year and you'll find convenient shopping, parking, services, transportation and more.  

The new City Hall Annex is located in the Hub at 1 Jackson Square. The annex houses the Health Dept., the Offices of Senior Affairs, Veterans Affairs, the Building Dept. and the Division of City Planning 

The MLK Hub is where you can catch the Light Rail that has stops at Liberty State Park and to all major transportation hubs, such as Newark Penn Station, Journal Square and Exchange Place PATH stations and NY Waterway ferries. It's a great convenience to Jackson Hill residents and businesses alike.  

The MLK Hub is one of Jersey City's most ambitious economic revitalization projects. Primarily funded by the Jersey City Economic Development Corporation, a significant investment of public capital has been the catalyst for private investment in the area. New, exciting developments are located around the Hub, such as Jackson Green: 22 Modern and Energy Efficient Townhomes.
